New Media Hollywood emerged as the leading reseller of Avid products in the U.S.A. While BCS had the right idea, becoming the first Avid Reseller in LA, the company failed to grasp the investment in training and talent necessary to make nonlinear products successful. Once I understood how far Lou Claude was willing to go with Avid, I decided to meet with Chris Speer owner of New Media Hollywood. Chris offered me the opportunity to run the sales department at New Media Hollywood and implement some of the sales processes that worked well at BCS. We would end up doing more business than any other reseller in the nation with a full line of Avid products and a host of complementary products that increased the size of each sale.
